How to Format an SD Card for Your WiseEye DC2 Camera

Updated over a week ago

( If you purchase a WiseEye SD card, it is already formatted to work in the camera. Therefore you do not need to format it, It is a class 10, 32GB card. If you insert a Non-WiseEye card, you will be prompted to format it.)

Step 1: Insert a class 10 SD U3 Card that is 128GB or less in to the SD Card slot.

Step 2: Turn the camera to "SETUP"

Step 3: Press the menu button.

Step 4: Navigate to the “System” Icon.

Step 5: Navigate down to the “Format” command and tap the “OK” button

Step 6: Choose the “SD Card” option - the "All SD card files will be cleared” message will appear - tap OK to continue.

Step 7: Confirm on the next screen by tapping the “OK” button again.

Step 8: A “Format successful” message will appear if the formatting process was correctly performed.

Step 9: Press the menu button 4 times to exit back to the main screen.

Step 10: The card is now formatted and you should see 0000/#### on top of the home screen. The #### will be the capacity of your card in number of files it can hold given your current settings.
