Wiser Add-On Feature – Setup & Customization Guide
Overview
The Wiser Add-On Feature lets you display optional products (add-ons) alongside a main product, allowing customers to easily include them before adding to cart.
This feature is commonly used for:
Accessories
Upgrades
Gift options
Complementary items
How to Access
Open your Wiser Dashboard
Go to Addon Settings
Click Enable to activate the feature
Step 1: Select Add-On Widget Type
Under “Select Widgets”, choose how add-on products are displayed:
New Arrival
Shows your latest products as add-onsAI Based Recommendations
Automatically suggests relevant add-onsRelated Products
Displays products related to the main item based of various conditonsHandpicked Manual Recommendations
You manually choose add-on productsRecently Viewed
Shows products the customer recently viewedFixed Selection
Always displays a fixed set of products
👉 Tip:
Use Manual or Fixed Selection if you want full control over what appears.
Step 2: Choose Layout
Inside “Choose Layout”, select how add-ons are presented:
Grid Layout
Products displayed side-by-side
More visual and compact
Ideal for multiple add-ons
List Layout
Products displayed vertically
Cleaner and easier to scan
Better for fewer, high-value add-ons
Step 3: Customize Styling
In the “Styling” tab, you can control the appearance:
Colors (background, text, buttons)
Font styles and sizes
Spacing and alignment
Checkbox appearance
This ensures the add-on widget matches your store theme and save

Step 4: Add App Block to Your Product Page (Important)
To display the add-on widget on your store:
Go to Shopify Admin
Navigate to Online Store → Themes
Click Customize on your active theme
Open a Product Page template
Click Add Block
Select Wiser Add-On (App Block)
Drag it to your preferred position (e.g., below Add to Cart)
Click Save
👉 Note:
The add-ons will not appear on your store until this step is completed.
