Mascot Network Orders: Shipping, Cancellations and What to Do If Something Goes Wrong

What happens after a Mascot Network sale: labels, the ship-by window, cancellations, multi-item orders and problems you can't fix yourself.

When an item sells through Mascot Network, the buyer bought it from Mascot on a partner marketplace such as Walmart or Temu. You never deal with the marketplace or the buyer directly: everything happens in Mascot, and Mascot Support handles anything you can't do yourself.

Shipping a Mascot Network order

  1. Go to Sales History. Mascot Network orders have a lightning bolt icon and a Ship by date.

  2. Open the order, check the Ship To and Ship From addresses and the package size and weight, then click Print Shipping Label.

  3. Ship within 2 business days of the sale, using the prepaid label Mascot provides. The buyer has already paid for shipping, so the label costs you nothing.

You don't need to mark the order as shipped. It is marked shipped automatically when the carrier scans the label, so getting a scan at the counter is the safest option.

No shipping label yet?

Some marketplaces don't release the label straight away, for example while they run fraud checks. As soon as it's available it's added to the order in Sales History automatically and you'll get an email. You won't be penalised for a delay caused by the marketplace.

Orders with more than one item

If a buyer buys several of your items in one order, you'll see one row per item in Sales History but you only need one label. Print it once and ship everything in one package.

Return address on the label

The label may show a Mascot return address rather than yours. This is expected for Mascot Network orders.

If you can't ship the item

If the card is damaged, missing or already sold elsewhere, don't ship anything. You can't cancel a Mascot Network order yourself: message Support with the order and we'll cancel it with the marketplace. The buyer is refunded automatically.

If you used your own label

Send the tracking number to Support as soon as possible so we can add it to the order. If too much time passes without tracking, the marketplace may cancel the order; if that happens, keep the card and relist it.

Buyer cancellations

Marketplaces let buyers cancel before an item ships, and we have to follow their rules. When an order is cancelled:

  • The item goes back into your inventory automatically.

  • The sale disappears from Sales History.

  • There's no compensation for a cancelled sale. If you hadn't shipped yet, nothing else is needed.

If an order disappeared from Sales History and you didn't cancel it, it was almost always cancelled by the buyer or the marketplace.

Seeing full order details

On the order, click the three dots to the right and choose View details. To find a specific order from a Mascot email, search Sales History by its MN Order ID.

Why shipping on time matters

Marketplaces judge Mascot on cancellations and on-time shipping for every Network order. Mascot tracks each seller's on-time dispatch rate, cancellations, overdue unshipped orders and how quickly they respond to offers, and sends a daily reminder about overdue shipments. If you ship in weekly batches, those orders will miss the window and be cancelled. If you're going away, turn on Vacation Mode.
