Custom Audiences Explained
What are custom audiences?
Custom audiences are specific groups of people identified based on their online activities. Marketers and businesses use custom audiences to show personalized ads and re-engage potential customers, making their marketing efforts more effective and relevant.
When should I use a custom audience in Witly?
You should use a custom audience when you are running ads using "Build Your Brand" strategies in Witly! These include:

Navigate to Audiences in Facebook
Before selecting your audience for use, you must first create it in Facebook!
Hover over the left-side navigation menu and select "Audiences"
Create a Custom Audience from a Custom List (CSV)
One of the mot common ways to create a custom audience in using a custom list, which is formatted as a CSV file.
After navigating to your Audiences page in Meta, click "Create a custom Audience"
Select "Customer List", then click "Next".
Click upload file to select a customer list from your computer.
Give your audience a name under "Audience Name". Only you will see this!
If you haven't already, check off the box under your audience's name to agree to Meta's Custom Audiences terms.
*** You will not be able to advertise to custom audiences without completing this step! ***
Select "Next"
Click "action needed" to manually map any fields that weren't matched by Meta. The most relevant / necessary pieces of information are:
Email address
Phone Number(s)
First + Last Name
