The QR codes are called 'Location' in the Woby portal.

Each Location can be linked to a LocationGroup.

The LcoationGroup allows you to set:

- Which products the guest gets to see in the Woby webapp.

- Whether the guest may also order or only view the menu.

- Whether the order(s) may be paid on account or must be paid online in advance before it arrives in the POS.

- The maximum number of orders per time slot. A time slot is best determined with the kitchen staff, usually every 5, 10 or 15 minutes.

- Personalise the thank you page

Step 1

Login to the Woby portal

Step 2

Click Add Location.

Tip: Hold Ctrl to open in new tabs. For example, if you have 40 tables, click Add Location 40 times in a row.

Step 3 (final step)

Fill in the fields and click Save.

Note: ask your Woby dealer for the Cash register ID for the most POS systems the ID is the same as the Location number.

The Location Number is the number the guest is ordering on, for example in the screenshot below is Location number 10 indicated. In this case all orders placed via this QR-code are coming in on table 10 in the POS.

Well done, you are finished!

Points of attention when creating webcodes.

  1. Try to use letters and numbers in different sequential order so they are not easy to guess.

  2. Try to avoid 0 o 1 l as guests can easily confuse them with each other.

  3. Try to enter max 3 characters in the Location code.

  4. The 3 characters of the Location code are pasted after the Establishment code so that the web code has a total of 7 characters on the stickers.

Below are some sample Location codes you could use for Web codes.

  • 82N

  • P39

  • 98T

  • S42

  • X86

  • 15K
