Save Time Updating Multiple Vehicle Prices at Once

Overview

This article will guide you through how to use the Bulk Price Editing feature. The Bulk Price Editing feature is a great way to save yourself some time when you need to update pricing for several vehicles so that you do not have to go through and make changes one by one. You can filter your vehicle list, select the vehicles you want to edit, and perform various actions like adding or deleting rebates/fees, reviewing pricing, or adding dealer trade notes. This process ensures that you can efficiently manage your vehicle inventory and make necessary changes across multiple vehicles at once.

This article only covers steps for how to get to the Bulk Price Editing tool and applying bulk changes, and does not cover detailed steps on how to editing pricing/create pricing line item. Before We Get Started

If you make any manual pricing adjustments through your Work Truck Solutions Commercial site, the manually entered price will override any future pricing updates made through the feed. If you have any questions on this, please reach out to support or your Customer Success Manager.

How to use the Bulk Price Editing feature

Step 1: Go to the Inventory Management Page

Once logged into your account, hover over the Tools tab in the main navigation bar and select Inventory Management from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Use Advanced Search feature

Once you have navigated on the Inventory Management page, use the Advanced Search feature to filter your list down to the vehicles you wish to edit. For full details on the Advanced Search feature, you can review our Using Advanced Search on Inventory Management article. If you intend to edit all vehicles, proceed directly to the next step.

Step 3: Adjust the Number of Entries Displayed

In the top left corner of the vehicle list, open the dropdown menu next to "Show X Entries." Select ALL to display all vehicles in your filtered results. This will ensure that you are applying the changes to all of your intended vehicles, rather than only those displaying on the first page of the filtered results.

Step 4: Select the Vehicles You Want to Edit

When you have narrowed your list down to the vehicles that you would like to edit, there are two ways to select vehicles for editing:

Select all vehicles on your filtered list: Click the check box in the header of the Inventory Management table (left of the "Work Truck" column) to select all vehicles in your list.

Select specific vehicles: Click the check box next to each vehicle you want to edit.

Step 5: Choose Your Desired Action Once you have selected your vehicles, you will notice some options appear at the bottom of the screen. This section will show you the number of vehicles selected, as well as, give you the option to clear your selection. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll also see buttons for the following actions:

  • Review Pricing

  • Add Rebates or Fees

  • Delete Rebates or Fees

  • Hide Pricing

  • Show Pricing

  • Feature

  • Add Sale Banner

  • Dealer Trade Notes

  • Bulk Print

Click the corresponding button to your desired action for the vehicles selected, and follow the steps outlined below.


Adding Rebates or Fees:

Step 6: Choose Pricing Option Decide whether you want to create a new pricing line item or use a template. Fill out the necessary fields as required.

Step 7: Apply to All Selected Vehicles Click Apply to All Selected Vehicles to save your new pricing line item across the selected vehicles.

Step 8: Review and Save Changes


Deleting Rebates or Fees:

Step 6: Choose Action to Delete Choose one of the following actions:

  • Delete All Rebates/Discounts – Removes all discount line items from the selected vehicles without affecting any fee line items.

  • Delete All Fees – Removes all fee line items from the selected vehicles without affecting any discount line items.

  • Delete All Rebates/Discounts and Fees – Removes both rebates/discounts and fees from the selected vehicles.

  • Delete Specific Rebate or Fee – Select a specific pricing line item to remove from the vehicles.

Step 7: Confirm Deletion Click Delete in the bottom right corner of the pop-up to confirm your selection.

Step 8: Review and Save changes


Reviewing Pricing

Step 6: Review/Edit Pricing Details Use the left and right arrows in the bottom left corner of the pop-up to navigate through the pricing modal for each of the selected vehicles. Here you can review and edit details like:

  • Final Price

  • Rebates & Fees

  • Body Costs & Display Options

Step 7: Close the Review Window Once you've finished reviewing or editing the pricing, click Close to exit the pricing review window.


Adding Dealer Trade Notes

Step 6: Enter Notes Type in any notes you would like to display to other dealerships who are viewing your listed vehicles in the Dealer Trade Network.

Step 7: Choose Note Action Decide how to add your notes:

  • Overwrite – Replaces any existing Dealer Trade Notes on the selected vehicles with the newly added notes.

  • Append – Adds the new notes to any existing Dealer Trade Notes on the selected vehicles.

Step 8: Review and Save changes.


Note: Your updates will sync across your dealer website and the Comvoy.com marketplace within minutes.
