Overview
One of the pricing tools available to you in the Edit Pricing Settings pop-up is the ability to add Pricing Line Items (Rebates/Incentives or Fees) through the Rebates & Fees tab. This feature allows you to apply discounts or additional fees to the sale price of a vehicle, ensuring that your pricing is accurate and aligned with promotional offers or special pricing conditions. Whether you're offering a rebate, incentive, or additional fee, the process is straightforward and customizable to meet the needs of your dealership.
This guide walks you through the steps necessary to add a pricing line item, including the options to specify conditions, set start and end dates, and decide if the line item should be included in the total savings.
Before We Get Started
This article only covers steps for on how to edit pricing/create pricing for individual items through your Inventory Management page only. For a detailed look at the option of Bulk Editing that is available to you, be sure to check out our Bulk Price Editing article.
All of the settings detailed below will affect the selected vehicle only.
Accessing the Edit Pricing Settings pop-up
You can open the pop-up in two places:
Option 1: Through Inventory Management

Hover over Tools in the main navigation bar and select Inventory Management.
Locate the vehicle using Advanced Search or the Search Bar (by Stock Number or VIN).
After finding the vehicle you want to edit:
Both methods will take you to the same Edit Pricing Settings pop-up. The following steps apply regardless of how you accessed it.
How to Add Pricing Line Items (Rebates/Incentives or Fees)
Step 1: Access Edit Pricing Settings model window
After clicking the Edit Pricing button, this will open the Edit Pricing Settings window where you can begin to access your pricing tools.
Step 2: Select which Pricing tool you want to access
Step 3: Create New or Use Saved Template line item
You can choose to either create a new line item by selecting the “Create New” option or use a previously saved template by clicking the “Use Template” option and selecting a template from the drop down.
Step 4: Enter the Label (title)
In the Label box, you will want to add the desired title for your pricing line item. For example, you can use the title “Customer Cash Back.”
Step 5: Enter the Pop-Up Description
Next, you will want to provide a description of the line item for your buyers which will be displayed as a pop-up.
Step 6: Select Discount or Fee and Confirm Amount
You will want to select whether this will be a discount or a fee.
If this is a fee line item, you will want to make sure that you select Fee before entering the amount.
Once you have selected either Discount or Fee, you can enter in either the Discounted or Fee Amount.
Step 7: Identify Start and End dates (if desired)
Similar to the Final Price tab, you have the ability to identify start and end dates for any pricing line item that you set up. This allows you to ensure that the line item will display to your buyers only as long as it is valid without requiring any further intervention from you.
Step 8: Identify if the new pricing line item is to be Included in Total Savings
Next, you will want to determine whether this pricing line item should be included in the total savings.
Step 9: Confirm if Conditional Pricing Item
If the line item you are creating relates to a conditional pricing offer, which is something that the buyer needs to qualify for in order to receive – i.e. a military discount, then you will want to check the box next to Conditional Pricing Item.
Step 10: Save as New Template(optional)
If you think you may use the same line item again in the future, you will want to check off the box next Save as New Template which allows you to pull this line item up in the future and use it again without having to create a whole new line.
Step 11: Save and Add Pricing item
Once you've filled out all the necessary information, click on the Add Pricing Item button to save your changes and add the new line item.
You will now be able to see your new pricing line item in the pricing preview panel on the left side of the Edit Pricing Settings model.
Step 12: Finalizing Your Changes
If you are only needing to make changes using the Rebates and Fees tab and are satisfied with your updates, you can click the Close button in the bottom right corner of the Edit Pricing Settings model to exit.
If you wish to continue editing other pricing details, you can easily click on the relevant tab in the Edit Pricing Settings model (e.g., Final Price, Body Costs, or Display) to explore additional options and make further changes to your vehicle's pricing or display settings.
