Notification cadence will depend on the type of notification delivered. We will go over them here.
Single Notifications
These are notifications only delivered one time with no follow-up.
Welcome Notification - Instant when the notification start date is the current date or on a future date if set in the future.
Form Rejection - Instant notification with reason for rejection and link to dashboard
Form Resubmission - Delayed 15 minutes for aggregate notification when multiple forms are requested, link to the dashboard to resubmit.
Password Reset Notification - Sent instantly when the Forgot Password form is submitted, containing a valid email address
Remote Reverification Notification - Sent instantly when the admin selects Request Remote Reverify on the current submission of the Form I-9
Repeated Notifications
These are notifications only delivered multiple times until completion of the task or up to a certain point noted below.
Form(s) Assigned/Due - when a form has a deadline in the system (fixed date or relative date) the notification cadence is (where applicable) 10 days before, 5 days before, 2 days before, 1 day before, and the day it is due. The form is then “Late”
Form(s) Late - Late notifications are sent the day a form becomes late (day after deadline) and then every 3rd day for up to 30 days (or until the form is submitted, the staff is deactivated, the form is unassigned, or the staff member is removed from the account).
Remote I-9 Verification Notification - Remote I9 countersignature notifications are based on employee Start Date and the cadence is 10 days before start date, 5 days before start date, 2 days before start date, 1 day before start date, START DATE, and every day after start date up to 30 days or until countersignature. If no start date is included on the employee file, the notification will trigger every day for 30 days after Section 1 is accepted
E-Verify TNC - Initial notification sent when E-Verify returns Pending Referral status (TNC). Notification repeats daily, until the staff member or admin completes Staff Action (bad data, no action, referred) or 10 business days pass (will auto submit No Action and FNC will return).
SSN Applied For - Single notification sent when staff completes profile with SSN Applied option selected. Nudge notifications are sent every 7 days for 21 days (up to 3 nudges).
