How to Stop Reminder Emails to an Individual

My contractor or employee is complaining that they are receiving reminder emails even though they believe they’ve completed everything. What can I do?

Updated over 2 months ago

The BEST way for an individual to stop receiving reminder emails is for them to complete all of their assigned, required forms in WorkBright. That might involve the onboardee completing the forms, it might involve an admin changing their form assignment, or it might involve an admin uploading submissions completed on paper outside of WorkBright.

If none of the above are preferred, possible, or relevant, you can also elect to stop notifications to the individual or deactivate them entirely from your WorkBright account.

Step 1: Ensure that the employee or contractor has been assigned the correct forms.

Go to the person’s profile and view the forms they are missing. Only missing required forms with deadlines will trigger reminder emails.

Step 2: If the Onboardee is missing forms that they do not need to complete, change their form assignment.

If you do see that the onboardee has been assigned one or more forms in error, you can remove them from a group that contains the mis-assigned forms. In the picture below, the admin views Mike Jones forms, removes him from the “OFFER LETTER” group, and then returns to his forms to show that the Part-Time Agreement has disappeared from his assigned forms.

If it’s no longer possible or relevant to do any of the above to guide the Onboardee to a completed file, you can stop their notifications or deactivate them from WorkBright. To Stop Notifications, Go the Employment Tab of Their Profile, Click “Schedule Notifications,” and select “Don’t Send Notifications.”

You can also Deactivate or Delete the person from your WorkBright account.

If the onboardee no longer needs an active account with your company, you can also put a stop to the reminder emails by deactivating or removing them from your WorkBright account.
