Getting started with your News & Events Console

Everything you need to manage your News & Events Console. Learn how to publish news, create events and keep your community informed across the Workinitiatives network.

Your News & Events Console gives you a simple, practical way to engage your regional community around employment, skills, news and events.

Your console lets you:

  • Publish local news, events and workforce updates

  • Promote Local Jobs Plan activities and skills initiatives

  • Share regional jobs and opportunities

  • Push content directly to your linked Workinitiatives network sites

Everything is managed through your console at partner.jobshub.com.au

Logging In

  1. Enter your email address and password (received via email)

  2. Select Log In

If you haven't received your login credentials, contact partnerships@workinitiatives.com.au

Forgotten your password? Select Forgot Password on the login screen and follow the prompts. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.

Your Dashboard

Once logged in, you'll land on your dashboard. This is your home base, from here you can access every section and see a snapshot of recent activity.

The left-hand menu gives you access to:

  • News — publish and manage regional updates

  • Events — create and manage local events

Where Your Content is Published

When you publish news or events through your console, content can appear in multiple places depending on your setup:

What it is

Workin<location> site

A regional job marketplace managed by WorkInitiatives (e.g. workinhunter.com.au)

Workin<industry> site

An industry-focused job marketplace managed by Workinitiatives (e.g. workinelectrical.com.au)

Not all accounts are configured for both. When you create a news post or event, only the sites configured for your account will appear as options.

You'll find the option to include other platforms in detail in the Publishing News & Updates and Creating and Managing Events guides in this collection.
