What is Broadbean?

Broadbean is a job ad multi-poster.

It allows employers to post job ads from Broadbean, or from a connected applicant tracking system, to multiple job boards.

When Broadbean is connected to Workinitiatives, you may be able to:

  • post a job ad from Broadbean to Workinitiatives

  • post a job ad from your applicant tracking system to Workinitiatives, if your ATS is connected to Broadbean

  • receive Workinitiatives applications into Broadbean

  • receive Workinitiatives applications directly into your applicant tracking system, depending on your setup

How to connect my Workinitiatives account to Broadbean?

1. Log in to Workinitiatives

Log in to your Workinitiatives employer account. If you do not have an employer account yet, register your company first and choose an appropriate package, subscription, or pay-as-you-go option.

2. Check your Workinitiatives posting access

Before connecting Broadbean, make sure your account has an active posting option.

This may include:

  • an active subscription

  • available job credits

  • a pay-as-you-go package

  • a trial package, if available

Important note about free trials

If you register for Workinitiatives and select a free trial, you may only be able to post one job ad through your applicant tracking system before needing to upgrade to a paid option.

If you need to post more jobs, upgrade your account or purchase additional job credits directly in Workinitiatives.

What to do if your job ad fails to post to Workinitiatives

A job ad may fail to post to Workinitiatives for a few common reasons.

Reason 1: Your subscription or job credits have expired

Your job ad may fail if your Workinitiatives subscription has expired or if you have no job credits available.

To check this:

  1. Log in to Workinitiatives.

  2. Go to your employer dashboard.

  3. Check your job credit balance or subscription status.

  4. If your balance is 0, purchase more credits or upgrade your package.

  5. Return to Broadbean or your ATS and try posting the job again.

Reason 2: The Broadbean connection has disconnected

Your job ad may fail if the connection between Broadbean and Workinitiatives has been disconnected or the integration key is no longer valid.

To reconnect Broadbean:

  1. Log in to Workinitiatives.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Select Third Party Integrations.

  4. Find the Broadbean integration.

  5. Select Generate Key.

  6. Select Show.

  7. Select Copy.

  8. Log in to Broadbean.

  9. Go to Job Boards.

  10. Find the Workinitiatives job board.

  11. Open Subscription details.

  12. Enter your Workinitiatives account email address.

  13. Paste the copied integration key into the password field.

  14. Save your changes.

After reconnecting your account, find the pending job ad in Broadbean or your ATS and try reposting it to Workinitiatives.

Reason 3: Your Workinitiatives account needs updating

If your Workinitiatives account details, package, or subscription level need to be changed, update them directly in Workinitiatives.

You cannot update your Workinitiatives package, subscription, billing, or company account details through Broadbean or your applicant tracking system.
