What is multiposting?
Multiposting allows you to publish a job ad from Workinitiatives to additional job boards.
This can help you:
reach more candidates
increase job ad visibility
advertise across multiple platforms
attract applicants from different job board audiences
manage additional job board posting from one place
Third-party fees may apply when posting to paid job boards.
Job boards connected by default
When you post a job ad on Workinitiatives, your ad is automatically distributed through the Workinitiatives network.
This may include:
Workinitiatives
Talent Expert
Workforce Australia
other Workinitiatives network job boards, where applicable
These default job board connections do not require manual setup in multiposting settings.
Paid job boards you can connect
You can manually connect additional paid job boards through your Workinitiatives multiposting settings.
Supported paid job boards may include:
SEEK
Indeed
LinkedIn Jobs
LinkedIn Limited Listings
CareerOne
You may need an active account and valid payment method with each third-party job board before you can post to them.
Important
Third-party job board fees may apply. Workinitiatives does not control third-party job board pricing, approval times, account requirements, or posting rules. Before multiposting, make sure your job board account is active and your payment details are up to date.
How to access multiposting settings
To connect paid job boards:
Log in to your Workinitiatives account.
Go to Multiposting Settings.
Select the job board you want to connect.
Enter the required account details.
Save your changes.
Once connected, you can multipost eligible job ads to the selected paid job boards.
Connecting to SEEK
To connect SEEK, you need:
a SEEK employer account
a valid payment method for paid job ads
your SEEK Hirer ID
How to find your SEEK Hirer ID
To get your SEEK Hirer ID:
Log in to your SEEK account.
Link SEEK to your recruitment software.
Select Idibu as the recruitment software.
Idibu is the integration partner used to support multiposting between Workinitiatives and SEEK.
When connecting SEEK to Idibu, enable the required options:
SEEK job posting
SEEK optimised apply
Accept the relevant terms and conditions.
Once submitted, your SEEK Hirer ID should appear on screen.
Your SEEK Hirer ID may look similar to this:
seekAnz:organization:seek:1a2B3c4D
When entering the Hirer ID into Workinitiatives, only copy the final ID section.
For example, from the above ID, you would only enter:
1a2B3c4D
If you were unable to copy the Hirer ID from SEEK, you may also receive an email containing the ID. Use the ID from that email and enter it into the SEEK section of your Workinitiatives multiposting settings.
Connecting to Indeed
To connect Indeed, you need:
an Indeed employer account
a valid payment method
matching company details between Workinitiatives and Indeed
Indeed refers to paid job ads as Sponsored Jobs. Sponsored Jobs are paid ads that may receive greater visibility on Indeed.
How to check your Indeed organisation details
In your Indeed account:
Log in to Indeed.
Select the menu icon in the top-right corner.
Go to Employer Settings.
Select Organisation.
Important company name requirement
Your company name in Workinitiatives must exactly match your company name in Indeed.
If the names do not match, the connection or job posting may not work correctly.
Indeed posting time
Allow up to 4 hours for your job ad to appear on Indeed after posting.
Connecting to LinkedIn Jobs
To connect LinkedIn Jobs paid ads, you need:
a LinkedIn Jobs account
a valid payment method
your LinkedIn Company ID
your LinkedIn Contract ID
authorisation for Idibu as a Job Posting Partner
LinkedIn Company ID
Your LinkedIn Company ID can usually be found in the URL of your LinkedIn company page.
For example:
In this example, the Company ID is:
123456789
Make sure you are logged in as an administrator of the LinkedIn company page.
LinkedIn Contract ID
Enter the Contract ID provided through your LinkedIn Jobs account or agreement.
Authorise Idibu as a Job Posting Partner
To connect Workinitiatives to LinkedIn Jobs, you need to authorise Idibu as a Job Posting Partner in LinkedIn.
This must be completed by a LinkedIn Recruiter Product Settings admin.
In LinkedIn, choose Idibu from the available Job Posting Partner options.
If you need help with this step, contact your LinkedIn representative.
LinkedIn posting time
LinkedIn processes job feeds periodically throughout the day.
Your job ad may take a few hours to appear, or it may be visible by the following morning.
Connecting to LinkedIn Limited Listings
LinkedIn Limited Listings may be available as a separate multiposting option.
If available, follow the instructions in the LinkedIn Limited Listings section of your Workinitiatives multiposting settings.
You may still need to confirm your LinkedIn company details and posting permissions.
Connecting to CareerOne
To connect CareerOne, you need:
the email address registered with CareerOne
the access key provided by CareerOne
Enter these details into the CareerOne section of your Workinitiatives multiposting settings.
If you do not have your CareerOne access key, contact CareerOne Support.
Before multiposting your job
Before sending a job ad to a paid job board, check that:
your paid job board account is active
your payment method is valid
the required integration details have been entered correctly
your company name matches where required
your job ad information is complete and accurate
you understand any third-party fees that may apply
Next step: multipost your job ad
Once your paid job board has been connected, you can multipost your job ad through Workinitiatives.
You can do this after publishing a job ad, or from the Jobs > Job ads page by selecting the job ad action menu and choosing Multipost your job.
Troubleshooting
I cannot connect SEEK
Check that:
you have a SEEK employer account
your SEEK payment method is active
SEEK has been linked to Idibu
SEEK job posting and SEEK optimised apply have been enabled
you have entered only the final section of your SEEK Hirer ID
My SEEK Hirer ID is not working
Make sure you have not entered the full SEEK ID string.
For example, if your SEEK ID is:
seekAnz:organization:seek:1a2B3c4D
Only enter:
1a2B3c4D
Indeed is not accepting my job ad
Check that your Workinitiatives company name exactly matches your Indeed company name.
Also confirm that your Indeed payment method is active.
My Indeed job ad has not appeared yet
Allow up to 4 hours for the job ad to appear on Indeed.
If it still does not appear after that time, check your Indeed account or contact support.
LinkedIn Jobs is not connecting
Check that:
you have entered the correct LinkedIn Company ID
you have entered the correct Contract ID
Idibu has been authorised as a Job Posting Partner
the authorisation was completed by a LinkedIn Recruiter Product Settings admin
I do not have my CareerOne access key
Contact CareerOne Support and request the access key for your account.
I received an error when multiposting
Take a screenshot of the error message and contact Workinitiatives support through the chatbot or by emailing:
Include the job title, the job board you were trying to post to, and a screenshot of the error.
Best practice tips
Set up job board connections before posting
Configure your paid job boards before you need to multipost a job. This helps avoid delays after your ad is published.
Keep account names consistent
Use the same company name across Workinitiatives and third-party job boards where possible.
This is especially important for Indeed.
Confirm third-party costs
Paid job boards may charge separate posting fees.
Review pricing directly with the third-party job board before posting.
Allow processing time
Some job boards do not publish ads instantly.
Allow time for job board processing, especially with Indeed and LinkedIn.
