Before you start
Before connecting Idibu to Workinitiatives, make sure you have:

What is Idibu?
Idibu is a job ad multi-poster that can help employers post jobs from an applicant tracking system directly to job boards.
When Idibu is connected to Workinitiatives, you can:
post a job ad from your ATS directly to Workinitiatives
receive Workinitiatives applications directly into your applicant tracking system
manage job posting through your existing recruitment workflow
Important
You must already have an Idibu account for Workinitiatives to appear as an available job board option in your applicant tracking system.
Your Idibu account must also be connected to your ATS before you can post jobs from your ATS to Workinitiatives.
If you need to update your Workinitiatives company details, package, subscription, billing details, or account settings, you must do this directly inside Workinitiatives. These changes cannot be made through Idibu or your applicant tracking system.
How to connect Idibu to Workinitiatives
1. Register or log in to Workinitiatives
If you do not already have a Workinitiatives employer account, register your company on Workinitiatives.
When registering, choose an appropriate posting option, such as:
pay-as-you-go
subscription
job package
free trial, if available
If you already have an employer account, log in to Workinitiatives.
2. Check your posting access
Before connecting Idibu, make sure your Workinitiatives account has an eligible posting option.
This may include:
an active subscription
available job ad credits
a pay-as-you-go package
a free trial, if available
Important note about free trials
If you select a free trial, you may only be able to post one job ad through your applicant tracking system before you need to upgrade to a paid option.
If you need to post more jobs, upgrade your account or purchase additional job credits directly in Workinitiatives.
3. Go to Third Party Integrations
In your Workinitiatives employer account:
Go to Settings.
Select Third Party Integrations.
Find the Idibu integration.
4. Copy your Workinitiatives integration key
In the Idibu integration section:
Select Show to reveal the key.
Select Copy to copy the key number.
This key is used to connect your Workinitiatives account to Idibu.
Important: Treat your integration key like a password. Do not share it with anyone who should not have access to your Workinitiatives or Idibu integration.
5. Send the key to your Idibu account manager
Provide your Idibu account manager with:
Detail | Description |
Workinitiatives account email address | The email address used for your Workinitiatives employer account |
Workinitiatives integration key | The key copied from Third Party Integrations |
Your Idibu account manager can use these details to link your Idibu account to your Workinitiatives account.
6. Start posting jobs through your ATS
Once Idibu has connected your Workinitiatives account, you can multi-post from your applicant tracking system to Workinitiatives.
Applications from Workinitiatives should flow back into your applicant tracking system, depending on your Idibu and ATS configuration.
Managing your Workinitiatives account
Any changes to your Workinitiatives account must be completed directly in Workinitiatives.
This includes changes to:
company profile details
billing details
subscription level
job ad credits
packages
account settings
user access
You cannot update these Workinitiatives account settings through Idibu or your ATS.
Troubleshooting
Workinitiatives does not appear in my ATS
Check that:
you have an active Idibu account
your Idibu account is connected to your ATS
Workinitiatives has been enabled as a job board option in Idibu
If Workinitiatives is still not visible, contact your Idibu account manager or ATS provider.
My job ad failed to post to Workinitiatives
Check that your Workinitiatives account has an active posting option.
You may need to:
purchase job ad credits
upgrade from a free trial
renew or update your subscription
check that your Workinitiatives account is active
After updating your Workinitiatives account, try posting the job again through your ATS.
My Idibu connection is not working
Go to Settings > Third Party Integrations in Workinitiatives and copy your current Idibu integration key.
Send the key and your Workinitiatives account email address to your Idibu account manager so they can confirm or reconnect the integration.
I need to update my Workinitiatives subscription
Subscription, package, billing, and job credit changes must be managed directly in Workinitiatives.
They cannot be updated through Idibu or your applicant tracking system.
Applications are not appearing in my ATS
Check your Idibu and ATS configuration.
If the issue continues, contact your Idibu account manager, ATS provider, or Workinitiatives support.
