In a Woveo community, verifying your identity with legitimate, official information is essential to creating a safe and trustworthy environment. This verification helps protect members from fraud, ensuring that all participants are genuine individuals aligned with the community’s values and goals. Identity verification also strengthens accountability, enabling members to feel secure as they engage in financial collaborations, such as savings and credit programs. By verifying identities, Woveo upholds the integrity of its community, fostering a space where members can build financial stability confidently.

Step 1: Navigate to the Onboarding Section

  • From Woveo’s home screen, go to the onboarding section and select "Verify Your Identity." The process is designed to be straightforward and user-friendly, ensuring your comfort and confidence.

Step 2: Select or Upload an Avatar Picture

  • Choose an avatar picture or upload your photo from the camera.

  • Grant permission to the app to access your camera roll if needed.

Step 3: Initiate the Verification Process

  • The verification process will begin powered by Cognito (soon to be Plaid).

  • Review the description, terms, and conditions, then press "Continue."

Step 4: Phone Number Verification

  • Enter your phone number.

  • Enter the SMS code you receive for verification.

Step 5: Complete Personal Information

  • Provide your legal name, address, and date of birth.

  • If the data matches successfully, your profile will be verified
