What are the different types of admin in Writable?

Learn the differences between a license admin/owner, district admin, regional admin, and school admin.

In Writable, there are four different types of admin. Read more about them below:


License Admin/Owner

The License Admin is the owner of the license and will automatically be granted admin access for the entire district. They will be able to see all data within the district and publish assignments and rubrics to 'My District' for all users. License admin also have the ability to add/remove users and change user roles. Learn more about how to add/remove users and change user roles.


District Admin

District admin will be able to see all data within the district and publish assignments and rubrics to 'My District' for all users. This means that they will be able to view data across all the schools in the district. They can change user roles but, they cannot add or remove users.


Region Admin

Region admin will only be able to see data within their region and publish assignments and rubrics to 'My District' for the users in their region. They will only have admin privileges for schools in their region; they will not be able to view data for schools outside their region. They cannot add or remove users or change user roles.


School Admin

School admin will only be able to see data on their campus and publish assignments and rubrics to 'My District' for their school. They will only have admin privileges for their school; they will not be able to view data for other campuses in the district. They cannot add users, remove users, or change user roles.
