There are a few things to review if your Canvas courses are not showing up in Writable.

1. Have you created a Writable assignment *inside Canvas*? The link between your roster and Writable is made when you click '+ Assignment' in Canvas and complete the steps listed here.

2. Are you missing just a few students or are they missing submitted writing? If you already assigned, try following these steps for students who are missing in your roster, or missing work.

3. Did another teacher share an assignment with you *inside Canvas*? If you grabbed someone else's created assignment inside Canvas, or you used Canvas Commons to find a Writable assignment, you may not be able to edit the assignment since someone else created it. We are working to allow more types of assignment sharing inside Canvas – mainly via Canvas Commons – in the coming months.
