If your school or district has purchased an HMH curriculum such as Into Literature, Into Reading, or Writable on its own, you will start your experience in Ed, your friend in learning.
1. Once logged in to Ed, navigate to the 'Discover' tab. Select the program and grade level from the dropdown menu to login to into Writable.
❗ Note: In the screenshot above, we are looking at Grade 11 of Into Literature. You might also select Writable Secondary or Elementary, or another HMH Curriculum to access Writable (Into Reading, English 3D, HMH Social Studies, Arriba La Lectura). Logging in with your curriculum and grade level selected will import your HMH Curriculum assignments into Writable. If teaching multiple grade levels, you may need to login with each grade level selected to access all your HMH curriculum assignments.
2. Click the 'Connected Solutions' button on the left of the screen to see programs linked to this course. Click the Writable icon to login.
Tip! You may see the button labeled 'Writing Tasks' instead of Writable if your district purchased access to the Basic version of Writable.
3. When launching Writable for the first time, you may be prompted to connect a Google or Microsoft account. To ensure all accounts are connected, It is highly recommended that you sign in to connect your account at this time.
4. Once you successfully launch Writable from Ed, you will see your licensed curriculum show up in 'Explore', as shown below.
Tip! Not seeing all of your grade-level content? Make sure you've launched into Writable for each of the grades you teach.
Finally, if you want your rosters or grades to sync with Google Classroom, Schoology or Canvas you'll also want to link with your LMS.
