This feature is optional - you can enable Direct Messaging for your students, if you choose
Enabling Direct Messaging for Your Students
Your first step is to enable direct messaging by navigating to your Account Section and clicking on the "Your School" tab. Scroll down to "School Settings"
Your students can now begin Direct Messaging each other
Using Direct Messaging
When your students login to the Forum, if you have Direct Messaging enabled, they'll see this option here:
When they click here to start a message and begin typing a name, a dropdown list of students will appear. Your student can click on the name to send a DM.
As the admin or coach, you can view all DMs by logging into your XP account, choosing one of your published courses, then going to the forum. Click on the DM icon in the header and you'll see all messages from all students. (Note, you do NOT need to use the forum for anything else to use the DM function)
Notification for your Students
Your students' privacy is important to us, and your students have the ability to choose what kinds of notifications they will receive for Direct Messages
