Imagine Your Future: The Power of Visualization

How would your life change if you could create and launch a lucrative Experience Product in just 10 weeks? What if you could make more money and achieve success for over 70% of your customers?

Take a moment to think about your financial situation. Whether you made $1K, $5K, $10K, or $50K last month—or even if you didn’t make anything—imagine earning 10 times that amount in just 10 weeks. Visualize the income from your first Experience Product starting to come in. How would you use that money? What kind of lifestyle could you provide for your family with consistent results?

Here’s a glimpse into my life:

We don’t live extravagantly. You won’t see me flaunting fancy cars or yachts. But I do enjoy a comfortable life just three blocks from Venice Beach. I’ve been able to:

  • Hire a personal trainer

  • Get weekly home massages

  • Enjoy healthy, delicious food

And, importantly, I travel extensively. Recently, I spent 7 weeks in Spain, Belarus, and Russia, and have explored places like Italy, Bali, the South of France, Sweden, Portugal, Costa Rica, Thailand, and the Netherlands!

I also indulge in our love for food, trying a new restaurant in Los Angeles each week to explore different parts of the city and experience new cuisines.

Your Picture of Success

Your vision of success might look different from mine, and that’s perfectly okay. Imagine it in as much detail as possible. Picture having:

  • The financial means to live the lifestyle you desire

  • The ability to provide for your family and your tribe

  • The freedom and time to enjoy it

Visualize not in the distant future, but starting right now.

By visualizing your desired future, you are essentially trying on a different version of yourself. This process is incredibly motivating and helps you stay focused on your goals.

Core Experience #2: Future Self

This process is part of Core Experience #2: Future Self. It complements Core Experience #1: Mission. You can’t define a mission for your students without first painting a picture of a Future Self they aspire to achieve.

Why Visualization Works:

  • Studies show that clear visualization of achieving a specific result boosts self-belief and likelihood of success.

  • Visualization activates the same brain regions as performing the task, creating neural pathways that guide your actions.

Most information products, programs, and courses fail to provide a detailed vision of their customers' future selves, leading to low motivation and engagement. Without a clear understanding of WHY it’s important, students are less likely to persevere when challenges arise.

The "why" must come before the "how". Without a vision of the end goal and its benefits, motivating students to learn the "how" becomes difficult. This principle applies not only to your content but also to your marketing—sales pages, emails, blog posts, and social media.

Examples of Future Self in Action

Consider James Mayfield Smith's approach: By helping his clients visualize the possibilities of consistent use of his strategies, he successfully enrolled 3 additional paying customers, generating an extra $1,494.

When you use the Future Self Core Experience effectively:

  • Prospects see you as part of their future success.

  • Students are more likely to buy from you and stay engaged, even when things get tough.

If you already have a product, program, or course, by the end of this video, you'll have ideas on how to integrate this core experience. If you’re still developing your product, don’t worry—we’ll address that soon.

Your Mission

Your task now: Create a compelling mission for your product. Think about a clear, specific, and measurable goal that will inspire your customers to join you on this journey.

Fill in the blank:

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is ________.

Make your mission invitational, seductive, provocative, and inspiring. It doesn't have to be perfect—just get started and create a vision that motivates and excites!
