Core Experience #3: Constant Wins

"Constant Wins" is one of the 10 Core Experiences of the Experience Formula, and it’s something you can start using right now in your business and life.

Here’s the key: whether big or small, to our natural reward system, a win is a win is a win. Each win, no matter the size, releases happy chemicals in our brains that keep us motivated and moving forward. Additionally, every small win builds confidence, and with more confidence comes more action and success.

Core Experience #3: Constant Wins Focuses on delivering a series of small wins along the way, rather than waiting for one big win at the end. By building confidence, motivation, and positive emotions one small win at a time, you create a snowball effect that leads to bigger actions, larger wins, and substantial results. Before you know it, you’ll be on a roll and feeling unstoppable.

In fact, Constant Wins are so crucial that I integrate them into every product I create. Each piece of training is designed around one simple, clear, and easy win.

For example: When new students join the Experience Product Masterclass, they receive their first very short training right on the purchase confirmation page. This training includes one simple action step. No waiting for emails or logging into membership sites. It’s right there, getting them into action immediately, chalking up those first few wins, and looking for the next.

This approach eliminates the dreaded Downward Death Spiral. Students realize right away that this is a different experience, leading to exceptional engagement and impressive results. For instance, our last class left over 100 pages of testimonials on our site after hitting "Mission Accomplished." I’ll share more about the core experience of Mission Accomplished in the next video.

So, let me ask you: How would you like to receive 100 pages of testimonials from your students for a single product after just 10 weeks? That’s a remarkable achievement in our industry, and it’s possible for you too when you incorporate Constant Wins along with the other 9 Core Experiences of the Experience Formula.

Here are 2 quick ways to build Constant Wins into your existing or new products, programs, and courses (and even into your coaching and consulting services):

  1. Start with a Simple Action: When someone joins your program, don’t overwhelm them with content that isn’t tied to a single, small action that can be completed in minutes. Many programs present an entire first module or "pre-training" that's just content with no immediate action. This mistake conditions people not to act and creates a passive learning experience. Avoid this by ensuring that the first action is simple and easily achievable.

  2. Keep It Easy: Don’t make the first action or decision challenging or complex. Make it so simple that no one can think, “I don’t know,” “I don’t have time,” or “I have no idea what I’m doing!” If they feel behind or confused, they’re more likely to give up. The Downward Death Spiral begins here.

To create Constant Wins: Break down your product’s outcomes into bite-sized, manageable steps that anyone can complete easily. Make the sales and marketing process filled with wins too. Instead of just providing value-based content, add specific actions that lead to quick wins and results.

Remember: Your sales process should also offer wins. Create engagement and reward prospects as they move through the sales process. By designing a game-like experience, you’ll hook people, keep them motivated, and help them reach the finish line.

If you’ve made it through this article, that’s a win! Your next step is to plan how to integrate Constant Wins into your course or program.
