How to Restore a Deleted Project or Page

Updated over a month ago

If you accidentally deleted a project, page, or any other content in xTiles, don’t worry — it’s not permanent. You can restore your content in a few simple ways.

Restore from Trash

All deleted content is stored in the Trash section, including:

  • Projects

  • Pages

  • Subpages (nested pages)

  • Subprojects

  • Groups of pages

    • Deleting a group moves each page individually to Trash. You’ll need to restore each page in the group separately.

How to Access Trash

  1. From the Homepage, locate the Trash icon in the bottom-left corner.

  2. From Trash, you can:

    • View all deleted content

    • Restore content to its previous location with one click

    • Permanently delete content if desired

Important: If you deleted a Space, you cannot restore it as a Space. Each project from that Space will be moved to Trash, and you’ll need to restore them individually.

Restore a Page from Archive

If you deleted a page and cannot find it in Trash, it may have been archived.
Collection-type pages — such as Table, Board, Gallery, Calendar, and Timeline — are automatically archived upon deletion instead of going to Trash, to help protect your data.

How to Access Archived Pages

  1. Go to the project where the page was deleted.

  2. Click the down arrow next to the New Page button.

  3. Select Archived Pages.

  4. From there, you can:

    • Unarchive a page back to the project

    • Permanently delete a page if desired

Undo action

The Undo action allows you to revert changes on the page immediately and restore the previous version of the page. You can use Undo by:

  • Clicking the undo arrow in the top-left corner

  • Pressing Ctrl + Z on your keyboard

Note: Undo is only available while your session is active. After reloading the page or navigating to another page, Undo will no longer work.
