Setting basic member incoming call configurations

You can customize how Kube processes incoming calls for each of your members. Basic incoming call configurations include: Call Forwarding Always, Call Forwarding Busy, Call Forwarding Not Reachable, Call Forwarding No Answer, and External Calling Line ID Delivery.

NOTES:

  • If your organization has not purchased Yardi Kube Voice, Kube does not show voice information.

  • Depending on your assigned role and permissions, and the version of Kube your organization uses, some or all of these menus or services may not be available or displayed.

To set basic member incoming call configurations

  1. Select Customers in the top menu and select Members from the drop-down menu.

  2. Locate the member in the grid and click the member's name. The Member Essentials window appears. Click Detailed View.

  3. Select Voice in the side menu and select the Incoming Calls tab.

  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Select On to enable an option and complete the related fields. For field descriptions, see the Incoming Calls Screen Reference at the end of this article.

  6. Click Save.

TIP: The next step in the Kube voice process is to configure member selective incoming call forwarding settings. For more information, see Setting member selective incoming call forwarding.

Incoming Calls Screen Reference

Call Forwarding Always

Forwards all calls the member receives to the selected number or extension, and the member's physical phone never rings.

CAUTION: If you enable this option, none of the other options on this screen function because all calls are forwarded.

TIP: The Play Ring Reminder option changes the ringing tone the caller hears to indicate that the call is being transferred.

Call Forwarding Busy

Forwards calls to the selected phone number or extension when the member receives an incoming call while on a call.

Call Forwarding Not Reachable

Forwards unanswered calls to the selected phone number or extension.

Call Forward No Answer

Forwards unanswered calls to the selected phone number or extension.

External Calling Line ID Delivery

Show or hide the caller ID for incoming calls. If you do not enable this option, Kube shows the member that they have an incoming call, but does not show the incoming call's phone number on the physical phone display.
