Pavers are pieces of hard material used to cover ground, typically concrete or stone.

These can be geometric (square, rectangle, etc) or more organic (natural stone pieces) in shape.

Standard-sized pavers are placed next to each other to create a single solid surface. Large pavers (2' x 2' or bigger) can be placed with small gaps between them, filled in with low planting (grass or groundcover species) or aggregate materials (gravel, decomposed granite, river rock, etc), or placed directly next to each other to create a solid surface.

What kinds of pavers exist? All pavers can be categorized into one of three types: Standard pavers, Concrete Pavers, and Natural Stone Pavers.

Standard Pavers

Standard pavers come in a variety of sizes, colors, and styles, making them a great option for any project.

Large Concrete Pavers

These pavers are great for modern landscaping, but also quite expensive to install. Concrete pavers larger than 2' x 2' are likely to be custom-made just for you, making them quite expensive.

Natural Stone

These are a great paving option for natural or traditional landscaping. While beautiful, they are generally the most expensive paving option since they are basically slabs of natural rock.

We can work with any pavers you like! Let us know if you have a preferred style and we'll include them in your design.
