Pavers can be used for any aesthetic to define pathways. These could be large concrete pavers, standard pavers in one of several common paving patterns, or natural-shaped stone pavers such as flagstone. Generally speaking, the larger the paver the more expensive it is.

Pavers are a great way to visually distinguish different spaces in a landscape design, such as patios, dining areas, and lounge areas.

Pavers can also be used in place of concrete for driveways. Using standard pavers can sometimes be less expensive than a poured concrete driveway, but large concrete pavers are costly.
