Wooden frame, with galvanized steel wire in a grid formation.
The wood can be stained or painted, making it suitable for a variety of projects.
Offers safety and division of space, but no privacy.
The wire fill is good for homeowners who want to enjoy a view through their railing.
This is great for both modern and traditional designs that want a more rustic feel.
Vertical Post Railings
$100 per linear foot
All wood or all metal vertical posts. Capped with a horizontal board or pole.
Material can be painted/stained, making them suitable for many projects.
Offers safety and division of space, but no privacy.
This is great for both modern and traditional projects.
Tip: paint the vertical wood railing a dark gray to lend a modern feel.
Horizontal Board
$120 per linear foot
All wood structure with mostly horizontal boards
Wood can be painted but is usually left natural or stained to showcase wood grain.
Offers safety, division of space, and privacy.
This is especially fitting for modern projects.
Cable Railings
$250 per linear foot
Wooden and/or metal frame with wire cables stretched vertically, or horizontally.
The frame can be painted or stained, and cables can be black or steel colored.
Offers safety and division of space, but no privacy.
The wire fill is good for clients who want to enjoy a view through their railing.
Glass Railings
$400 per linear foot
Metal frame holding large sheets of glass.
Offers safety and division of space, but no privacy.
Great for very high budget, modern projects.
Great for preserving views (obviously!).
