Overview

You can send instant push notifications to your members, targeting either specific individuals, entire cities, or your full member base. These alerts appear on mobile devices like standard app notifications, and can include optional deep-links to drive engagement.

1. Creating a Notification

  1. In the Admin dashboard, go to Notifications in the left menu.

  2. Select the Notification Type:

    • Members – target specific members.

    • City – target all members in a specific city.

    • All – send to all members across the platform.

  3. Fill in the required fields:

    • Members (if “Members” type selected) – choose the individual recipient(s).

    • Title – a short headline (appears bold on the notification).

    • Message – the main content of the notification; keep it concise and action-oriented.

    • Deeplink (optional) – include a link that opens a specific page inside your app (for example an event, guide, or reservation page). The link must start with your app’s custom scheme (e.g., yayem.yourclubname://) and can be found within your Experiences or Space Resources.

  4. Click Send when finished.

2. Member View

  • Once sent, the notification appears on members’ devices similar to alerts from other apps (e.g., WhatsApp or Instagram).

  • Depending on device settings, notifications may appear as:

    • Lock screen alerts

    • Banner pop-ups at the top of the screen

    • Entries in the Notification Center

  • If the notification included a deeplink, tapping it will take the member directly to the specified page inside the app.

Admin Best Practices

  • Use push notifications only for urgent or time-sensitive updates (e.g., “Event starts in 30 mins”, “Class cancelled today”).

  • Keep the title short and the message clear so that it displays well on lock screens.

  • Test deeplinks before sending: ensure they correctly navigate inside the app.

  • Use city- or club-specific targeting when possible to keep messages relevant and avoid over-notifying your full member base.

  • Monitor member feedback and notification engagement (if tracked) to avoid alert fatigue.
