Behaviour without discount:

There are 2 options for Exchanges in yayloh:

  1. Allow the customer to exchange only to a different size of the original product

  2. Allow the customer to exchange to a different size of the original product OR a different product of the same price (this option is a good choice if you want to allow customers to exchange for a different colour). Note: to enable exchange to a different product, please contact support@yayloh.com

Default behaviour with discount:

A Shopify discount code can be applied as a Product discount or Order discount, however the yayloh system reads products bought with a discount the same way regardless of how the discount is applied.

If a customer buys a product on sale or with a discount code, they can only exchange for a different size of the same product. Exchanges for different products are not allowed.

Do you want to block exchanges entirely during sales?

There are two advanced rules you can enable:

  1. Block if selling price is zero: Prevents exchanges when the selling price is set to zero, ensuring that multiple exchanges for the same item are not allowed.

  2. Block if selling price is less than original: Prevents exchanges when the selling price is lower than the original price, ensuring exchanges on discounted items are not allowed.

These rules help maintain pricing integrity and ensure exchanges meet your business policies. If these rules are applied, the exchange button will be hidden for the customer, leaving return or claim as the only options.

To configure these settings, go to yayloh > Settings > Exchange and switch on the preferred options with a toggle.

Remember to click 'Apply changes' once you update your preferences.
