Yieldstreet has updated some of the terms in your Portfolio page to help deliver a more holistic portfolio experience so you can continue to diversify.

Investments are monitored through our internal portfolio and risk management framework. This internal rating system corresponds to what is shown in your portfolio.

The current classification of each investment is detailed below:

Pending

An investment is classified as “Pending” after a request has been submitted, but it has not yet been made active in the deal. An investment will remain pending until account set up is complete and/or funding is received for the investment. You can view and action anything that might be missing in your portfolio.

Active

Once funds have been received and the investment is processed, the investment is now "Active." This classification implies that the investment's performance is in line with, or outperforming initial expectations. The investment is regularly monitored by our portfolio management team as it progresses toward maturity.

Watchlist

An investment is classified as “Watchlist” when it is not performing according to initial underwritten expectations due to changes in either transaction-specific or broader market conditions. As a result contractual payments have a higher probability of being missed or future expected returns may vary from initial expectations.

Any investment classified as “Watchlist” is closely monitored by our portfolio management team and material developments will be communicated as they occur.

Default

An investment classified as “Default” is impaired and may have deviated from the original business plan or performance expectations. This generally means that a borrower has failed to fulfill their financial obligations, such as making a scheduled payment or meeting the terms of a loan or debt agreement. Please note that this category only applies to debt offerings (therefore equity and third party fund investments are not applicable to this particular classification).
