Yoom Knowledge allows you to search for knowledge within direct messages with the Yoom Knowledge app in Slack.

In this article, we'll show you how to search for knowledge within direct messages.

1. Integrate Slack and Yoom Knowledge

First, you need to link Slack and Yoom Knowledge, so please refer to this article to link Slack and Yoom Knowledge.

2. Add Slack app to side menu

Click "Add apps" from the App section at the bottom left of the side menu.

A list of apps will be displayed, so search for "Yoom Knowledge" in the search bar and select the Yoom Knowledge app.

You can search by changing the tab at the top to the "Messages" tab and sending the information you want to search in the message. (You can search in direct messages without adding mentions.)

Also, if multiple knowledge bases exist, please search by adding the knowledge base ID at the beginning of the message{Knowledge Base ID}:your question in the format .

(If there is only one knowledge base, there is no need to add the knowledge base ID at the beginning.)
