📝 Overview
In Yoom, you can store previously retrieved information as 'retrieved values' and pass them on to subsequent Flowbots. This feature allows you to use the same field names (retrieved values) across different steps, making it easier to carry over and reuse data.
💡 Use cases
When requesting support, you can pre-fill the input fields automatically with previously gathered information.
For example, by using actions like "Form Trigger" or "Manage Database," you can collect client details and display them when reaching out for support from a team member.
🛠️ Step by Step Set Up
1) Create a "Form Trigger"
Let’s say you have three fields: "Company Name," "Responsible Person," and "Email Address." Start by creating a form with these fields.
2) Add an "Action Request" Action
Create a message asking the responsible person to confirm if the information in the form is correct.
You can use the retrieved values from Step 1 to pre-fill this information.
🛠️ How It Works
1. Entering Values in the Form Trigger
The form fields are automatically filled with the values you've already collected.
2. Requesting Support from the "Responsible Person"
The fields that the responsible person would usually fill out are already pre-populated with the data.
☝️ Note:
If the responsible person updates any values, such as "Company Name," "Responsible Person," or "Email Address," the retrieved values will be replaced with the new information.
This method streamlines the process, reducing the workload for the person responding.
