📝 Overview
Yoom offers a variety of features that allow you to control the number of tasks executed and ensure secure access with various security settings. These features are designed to give you peace of mind while using Yoom.
In this article, we’ll guide you through these features and explain how to configure them.
🛠️ Setting a Limit on Task Executions
Yoom allows you to set a limit on the number of tasks executed each month. This feature is particularly useful when you're in the early stages of using Yoom and might be testing multiple Flowbots, which can result in a high number of task executions.
How to Set It Up:
In your Yoom workspace, click the settings button at the bottom left.
From the left-hand menu, select "General Settings".
Turn on the monthly task execution limit, set your preferred limit, and click “Change”.
☝️ Note:
Test operations are not counted as task executions. For more details on how task executions are counted, refer to the related help page.
This feature is available for users with the Mini plan or higher.
Only workspace administrators can configure this setting.
Be sure to click “Change” after toggling the setting to apply the changes.
🔐 Security Features
Two-factor Authentication (Available on All Plans)
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security feature that requires you to enter a code, in addition to your password, when logging in. This feature is available for all plans and adds an extra layer of security.
How to Set It Up:
Click the settings button at the bottom left of your Yoom workspace.
In the menu, select “Two-Factor Authentication”.
Follow the instructions to enable 2FA.
Once 2FA is set up, you will be prompted to enter a code when logging in.
SAML Authentication (Available on the Success Plans)
SAML authentication enables Single Sign-On (SSO), which allows you to log into multiple services with one authentication. By using SAML authentication, you only need to manage a single set of credentials, making it easier for users and reducing security risks.
How to Set It Up:
Click the settings button at the bottom left of your Yoom workspace.
In the menu, select “Security”.
Configure the SAML Authentication settings as per the instructions in this guide.
☝️ Note:
SAML authentication is available for the Success plan and requires a workspace administrator's permissions.
IP Address Restrictions (Available in Team & Success Plans)
With IP address restrictions, you can limit access to Yoom to specific IP addresses. This feature offers an added layer of security by preventing access from unauthorized addresses.
How to Set It Up:
Click the settings button at the bottom left of your Yoom workspace.
In the menu, select “Security” > “IP Address Restrictions”.
Add the IP addresses you want to allow, then click Save.
☝️ Note:
IP address restrictions are available for Team & Success plans, and require workspace administrator privileges.
Requiring Two-Factor Authentication for All Members (Available in Success Plans)
Yoom also allows you to require two-factor authentication (2FA) for all members of your workspace, ensuring that everyone who accesses Yoom is using 2FA for added security.
How to Set It Up:
Click the settings button at the bottom left of your Yoom workspace.
In the menu, select “Security Settings”.
Toggle “Require Two-Factor Authentication for All Members in the Workspace” to on, and click “Change”.
☝️ Note:
This feature is available for the Success plan and requires workspace administrator privileges.
