This article explains how you can offer new product types via Zaikio Procurement.

An overview of all available products can be found at the following link: https://docs.zaikio.com/api/procurement_suppliers/guides/product-types/

If your product is not listed, you can always contact us to add it.

Possibilities

There are two ways to offer products via Zaikio Procurement:

  1. Option - API: One option is to send items and prices to Zaikio Procurement via the API interface. This form of integration enables advantages such as live pricing, an availability check, surcharges (e.g. low quantity surcharge), and more.

  2. Option - csv-import: An alternative way to offer products is via a manual csv-import. For this purpose, an article file and a price file must be filled in and manually uploaded into the system. This way allows a relatively quick and easy entry into Zaikio Procurement, since technical requirements such as the connection to the own ERP system are not needed. On the other hand, this form of integration does not offer the advantages mentioned above.

Steps

Depending on your integration, follow the steps below to send products and prices to Zaikio Procurement. To open the desired instructions click on the arrow to expand the menu.

API

To submit products as well as prices via the API follow the guidelines.

csv import

  1. First export the corresponding template.

  2. Fill the template. Pay attention to the allowed values and defaults of the corresponding product type in our documentation.

  3. Import the article file.

  4. (If necessary, create a pricing agreement and store it at the respective customer contract).

  5. Fill the price template.

  6. Import the price file.

  7. Give us a short info if you have uploaded a file for a new product type, e.g. we can send a message to all printers.
