Occasionally, you may encounter prospects that you prefer to exclude from your prospect search and campaigns in Zaplify. While Zaplify offers features to block entire companies, blocking individual prospects is not currently an offered feature. In this article, we outline a simple workaround to help you block specific prospects.

You may be familiar with blocking companies through Zaplify's 'blocklist' feature. This feature allows you to avoid adding a company to any of your campaigns. If you are interested in this feature, you can learn more here.
How to block individual prospects - The Workaround
Follow these steps for a straightforward workaround:
1. Create a campaign draft to lock in blocked prospects
The first step would be to create a draft campaign. You can name this campaign "blocked prospects" to indicate that any prospects in this campaign are not to be included.
2. Upload a prospect list
If you have an external list of prospects that you do not wish to search for or add through Zaplify, you can export this data as a CVS or Excel file. Next, upload this file to your "blocked prospects" campaign. This will ensure that these prospects are not searchable for you or your colleagues.
3. Move prospects to a "blocked prospects" campaign
Alternatively, if you have already added a prospect to a campaign but wish to block them, utilize Zaplify's feature that allows you to move prospects to your "Blocked Prospects" campaign. The prospects will remain in the "Blocked Prospects" campaign until you decide otherwise.
