Getting Started
How do I add the Zelle wallet?
When you sign up with ZayZoon, we'll help you create a wallet if your email or phone number is already linked to Zelle.
If you're already linked to Zelle, when you take a payout, you'll be prompted to connect Zelle or use a different wallet.
Click Next to add the Zelle wallet and receive the payout through Zelle immediately.
If you click Use Another Wallet, you'll be able to view your regular wallets. You can Add a new wallet when taking a payout at any time and select "Zelle"
⚠️ Important: Make sure the Zelle email/phone number are linked to the bank account where you'd like to receive funds. This makes sure the payout goes to the right destination.
Can I add more than one Zelle account to ZayZoon?
Yes, you can add more than one Zelle account to ZayZoon.
If you have more than one bank account with Zelle, make sure your ZayZoon wallet is attached to the email/phone number of the account where you want to receive funds.
If you are worried about sending funds to the wrong Zelle account, you can disable a wallet at any time.
Why does it say my Zelle email/phone number has already been taken?
That email/phone number is already linked to a Zelle wallet in ZayZoon. You can simply select the wallet when requesting a payout.
If you’re having trouble, try disabling and adding the wallet again, or use a different method.
Why isn't my email or phone number supported by Zelle?
Your email or phone number may not yet be registered with Zelle.
To use Zelle with ZayZoon, you’ll need to first set up a Zelle account through your bank’s mobile app or website.
Once that’s done, try adding the Zelle wallet again or try a different payout wallet.
Zelle Payout Status
Where can I see the status of my Zelle payout?
You can check the status of your payout in your Zelle app or your bank account. Look for an email or text from Zelle with instructions to claim your payout.
Updates can sometimes take up to 24 hours to appear in the ZayZoon app.
Where is my Zelle payout?
You may still need to claim the amount or select the bank with Zelle. Check your Zelle account in your bank's mobile app or website for any instructions.
If you didn't accept the payout in time, Zelle will automatically cancel the payout. This will automatically update in ZayZoon and you'll be able to request another payout once the first request has been cancelled.
What if I changed my email or phone number?
If you changed the email or phone number recently:
Update your personal information in your bank account associated with Zelle. Check with your bank or credit union's FAQs or support teams if there are any additional steps to update your Zelle wallet information.
Disable, then add a new Zelle wallet with your new information.
This will prevent payouts from being accidentally sent to the wrong account.
What if I sent my funds to the wrong Zelle account?
Once the funds are sent from ZayZoon to Zelle, we may not be able to cancel the payment.
Open the chat in your ZayZoon app as soon as possible to let our team know what happened.
Disable the ZayZoon Zelle wallet immediately to prevent accidental payouts.
Add a new Zelle wallet with the correct information.
If you changed your phone number, disable your ZayZoon Zelle wallet immediately to prevent accidental payouts to the old number.
