Why your payout wallets or fees may look different

Why some wallet options may not be available or have different fees in the ZayZoon app.

ZayZoon works in many U.S. states and Canadian provinces, and each location has its own rules for Earned Wage Access. Because of this, you may see different wallet options or fees than your coworkers or other ZayZoon users.

The good news? You'll always have at least one $0 fee way to take a payout.

Why would my payout wallets or fees be different?

Some states require:

  • at least one free payout method

  • limits on certain fees

  • restrictions on instant options

  • limits on how many paid payouts you can take per pay period

ZayZoon automatically applies these rules behind the scenes. You’ll only see options that are allowed in your state. Some exceptions are:

Wisconsin

Only $0 fee payout methods are available.

South Carolina

Next-day bank transfers and instant gift cards are free; some instant options may have fees.

Connecticut

You may see either fee-free options only, or a small fee for your first paid payout in a pay period. After that, only $0 fee options will appear.

Why don’t I see certain payout methods?

Some payout methods may be unavailable due to state-level regulations. The ZayZoon app automatically shows the options that apply to you.

Will my payout options change if I go on vacation?

Your available payout options will remain the same as you travel around the United States or Canada.

Please note that ZayZoon does not offer Earned Wage Access outside North America. If you try to log into the app abroad, you’ll receive an Error 16, indicating the service isn’t available in that region.
