Connect your Apple iCloud Calendar with Zeeg to seamlessly track your availability, update your schedule, and enable Zeeg to intelligently book appointments for you.

This integration is a part of Zeeg's comprehensive support for various calendar systems, allowing you to stay organized and efficient.

Connecting Apple iCloud Calendar to Zeeg

Before integrating your iCloud calendar with Zeeg, it's essential to create an app-specific password through Apple. This unique password, different from your standard Apple password, is required for enhanced security when linking to third-party apps like Zeeg.

Creating an Apple iCloud app-specific password

  1. Visit Apple ID and sign in.

  2. In the Security section, enable two-factor authentication if it's not already active.

  3. Navigate to App-Specific Passwords and click "Generate Password".

  4. Enter a label for the password, such as "Zeeg", and click "Create".

  5. Copy the generated app-specific password for use in Zeeg.

Some users have experienced difficulties generating Apple iCloud app-specific password using the Safari browser. If you encounter similar issues, try using an alternative web browser.

Integrating iCloud Calendar with Zeeg

  1. Click on your name in the bottom left corner of the Zeeg dashboard and select "Calendar Connections".

  2. Choose the "+ iCloud account" option.

  3. Enter your iCloud email address and the iCloud app-specific-password you generated before and click on Connect.

Managing conflicts with Apple iCloud Calendar

Troubleshooting detection issues

If conflicts are not being detected even after adjusting the calendars in conflict checking, follow these steps:

  1. Disconnect your Apple/iCloud calendar integration in Zeeg.

  2. Reconnect the calendar using a new app-specific password. This refreshes the connection and resolves issues that may occur due to changes on the Apple side.

Reconnecting your calendar ensures that the integration is up-to-date and functioning correctly.

To customize conflict checking, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Conflict Checking settings in Zeeg.

  2. Locate your Apple (iCloud) calendar and click the arrow next to it to view the list of calendars.

  3. Edit the selection to include or exclude specific calendars. This ensures that only the calendars you want are used for conflict detection. By customizing the calendars included in conflict checking, you can better manage your availability and avoid scheduling conflicts.

Adding new events to your iCloud Calendar

When events are scheduled through Zeeg, they can be automatically added to your iCloud Calendar.

To do so, from "Calendar Connections", under the "Add to calendar" section, select your preferred calendar and click Save.
