Manual appointment booking is especially useful when you're on the phone with a customer or already in communication with them. Instead of sending a link to your scheduling page, you book the agreed-upon appointment directly during the conversation in the CRM and all participants automatically receive a calendar invitation. For round-robin appointments, you can manually select the host or let the distribution logic decide.
How to book an appointment directly in the CRM
1. Navigate to People in the left sidebar of your Zeeg Dashboard
2. Select the person you want to book an appointment with and click on their name
3. Click + New Event in the top right
4. Select the appropriate scheduling page from the dropdown menu
5. For round-robin events, either choose a host or leave it to the distribution logic
6. Optional: Click Add guests and type in a name or email address to invite additional participants
7. Click Next. The scheduling page will open
8. Select a time slot in the calendar
9. Add any additional details such as notes or custom form fields if needed and confirm with Schedule event
The appointment is now created and all participants automatically receive a calendar invitation via email.
Adding Guests
When adding additional guests, you have two options:
Person already exists in CRM: Simply enter the name and Zeeg will suggest the corresponding person
Person not yet in CRM: Enter the complete email address. The person will be automatically created as a new contact
