By connecting your Proton Calendar with Zeeg, the platform can check your availability in real-time. Zeeg automatically recognizes when you have booked appointments and doesn't show these time slots as available to your invitees. This helps you avoid double bookings a nd maintain full control over your calendar.
The Proton Calendar integration is available on all Zeeg plans – including the free Starter plan.
Read-only access
The Proton Calendar integration works only as a read-only connection. Zeeg can check your availability, but cannot create new appointments directly in your Proton Calendar. Newly booked Zeeg appointments are sent to you via email as an .ics file, which you can manually add to your Proton Calendar.
How to connect Proton Calendar with Zeeg
1. Click on your name in the top left corner and select Calendar connections from the dropdown menu
2. Navigate to “Connect your Proton Mail Calendar” in your Zeeg calendar connections and click Add +
3. Paste your calendar sharing link in the corresponding field and optionally assign a calendar name
You need a special sharing link from your Proton Calendar. You can find detailed instructions on how to obtain this link directly at Proton.
4. Click Save
Important notes about synchronization
Update interval
Changes in your Proton Calendar are not immediately visible in Zeeg. Synchronization can take some time (typically 5-15 minutes). Plan accordingly for short-notice appointment changes.
