How to Edit User Profile Information

Manage your team members' basic profile details including profile pictures, names and Zeeg links directly from your workspace settings.

Workspace owners, administrators, and partners can edit basic profile information for users in their organization. This feature is useful when setting up Zeeg for your entire team, onboarding new employees, or when agencies configure workspaces for their clients. You can update profile pictures, names, and personalized Zeeg links without requiring users to make these changes themselves.

Plan requirement: User profile editing is available to workspace owners, administrators, and partners,regardless of the Zeeg plan of your workspace.


Who can edit user information?

Only users with the following roles can edit other users' profile information:

  • Owner: Full access to edit all users in the workspace

  • Administrator: Can edit user information for team members

  • Partner: Can edit user information within their organization

Regular users can only edit their own profile information through their personal profile settings.


How to edit a user's profile information

1. Click on your workspace name in the top left corner of your dashboard and select Workspace settings from the dropdown menu.

2. In the left sidebar under the Workspace section, click on Users.

3. Hover over the user you want to edit in the user table. Three dots (...) will appear on the right side of their row. Click on the three dots to open the options menu for that user.

4. From the menu, you'll see three options: Remove user, Deactivate user and Edit info. Click on Edit info to open the user profile editor.

5. Update the user's information. You can modify the following details:

  • Profile picture

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Zeeg link

6. Save your changes


Important notes

Zeeg link uniqueness

Each Zeeg link must be unique across the entire Zeeg platform. If the link you're trying to assign is already taken, you'll need to choose a different one.

User notifications

Users are not automatically notified when their profile information is changed by an admin. If you make significant changes (like updating their name or Zeeg link), consider informing them directly.

Email addresses cannot be changed

User email addresses cannot be modified through this feature. If a user needs to change their email address, they must update it through their personal account settings, or the admin must remove the user and send a new invitation to the correct email address.

When new employees join your company, you can set up their complete Zeeg profile, including profile picture and branded Zeeg link, before they even log in for the first time.

Agencies managing Zeeg for multiple clients can configure each client's team members with professional profile pictures and consistent naming conventions that match their brand standards.

Maintaining brand consistency

Ensure all team members have professional profile pictures and follow your company's naming conventions by managing these details centrally.

Correcting errors

Quickly fix typos in names or update outdated profile pictures without waiting for individual users to make the changes themselves.


Frequently Asked Questions

Can users override the changes I make?

Yes. Users can always edit their own profile information through their personal profile settings. If maintaining specific branding or formatting is important, communicate these standards with your team.

What happens to the user's old Zeeg link when I change it?

The old link will no longer work, and anyone trying to access it will receive an error. Make sure to update any places where the old link was shared (website, email signatures, marketing materials, etc.).

Can I edit profile information for deactivated users?

No. You must reactivate a user before you can edit their profile information. Deactivated users cannot be modified until they're active again.

Do I need to edit each user individually?

Yes, there is currently no bulk edit feature. Each user's information must be updated individually through the user table.

Will changing a user's name affect their existing scheduled meetings?

No. Existing scheduled meetings will retain the information that was current at the time of booking. The updated name will appear for all new bookings going forward.
