Zeeg lets you define exactly when you're not available for bookings — whether that's a single afternoon or a two-week vacation. Out-of-office entries are managed in “Calendar & Availability”, which you can access from your Zeeg home screen, and automatically block those times across all your scheduling pages.
Out-of-office entries are available on all Zeeg plans — including the free Starter plan. There's no upgrade required to start blocking time off and keeping your booking availability accurate.
If you want to adjust your availability for one specific scheduling page — for example to block certain dates for a single event type — you can set date exceptions directly in that scheduling page's settings.
How to add an out-of-office entry
1. From your Zeeg home screen, click the dropdown menu in the top left corner and select Calendar & Availability.
2. Once you're on the Calendar & Availability page, scroll to the Out of Office section. There you'll find two options — choose the entry type that applies to your case and click on it:
Out of office — for a single appointment or short absence (e.g. a doctor's visit)
Vacation — for a longer period (e.g. a two-week holiday)
A settings panel will open on the right side of your screen where you can configure your new entry.
3. Enter a title for the entry (e.g. "Dentist appointment" or "Summer vacation").
4. Select the date or date range you want to block.
If needed, mark the start or end day as a half-day:
For the start day: set the time from which you become unavailable
For the end day: set the time from which you're available again
Optionally, add an internal note to the entry for your own reference.
5. Click Save. The blocked period will now be excluded from your booking availability automatically.
Once saved, all your out-of-office and vacation entries are listed under the Out of Office section in Calendar & Availability, where you can review, edit, or delete them at any time.

FAQ
Can I add multiple out-of-office entries at the same time? Yes. You can create as many entries as you need. Each one is managed independently and can be edited or deleted at any time.
Will out-of-office times affect all my scheduling pages? Yes. Entries added under Calendar & Availability apply across all your scheduling pages automatically.
What's the difference between "Out of office" and "Vacation"? Both options block your availability completely, but the difference is the intended duration: “Out of office” is designed for shorter, specific absences like a single appointment or a half-day, while “Vacation” is better suited for blocking a longer continuous period.
Can I mark only part of a day as unavailable? Yes. When adding an entry, you can enable the half-day option for the start and/or end date and set the exact time from which you become unavailable or available again.
What happens to bookings that were already made for a time I now block? Existing bookings are not affected. Out-of-office entries only prevent new bookings from being made for the blocked period.
