🔧 Setting Up the Integration
SmartOffice integration is enabled through admin configuration.
To enable it:
Contact Zeplyn Support or your Customer Success Manager to activate the integration for your firm.
Once enabled, SmartOffice will appear under Settings → Integrations.
📝 Syncing Notes to SmartOffice
Once your integration is active:
4. From the dropdown, choose the SmartOffice Contact or Business you want to sync the note to.
5. Select the Activity Type you want to create in SmartOffice:
Appointment
Call
To-Do
Project
Meeting
Email
6. Toggle the attributes you’d like to sync, then click Confirm to complete.
⚠️ Important: Once a note is synced to SmartOffice, it cannot be edited in Zeplyn.
📍 Where to Find Synced Data in SmartOffice
Once synced, your records appear under the Calendar in SmartOffice, linked to the selected Contact or Business:
Notes → Logged as SmartPads under the contact record.
Tasks / Activities → Logged as Activities of the chosen type (e.g., To-Do, Call, Meeting, Appointment, Email, Project). Each includes the subject, description, and due date.
🔄 What Zeplyn Retrieves from SmartOffice
Contacts: Retrieved as Clients in Zeplyn (Contact or Business records). Archived records are skipped.
Activities:
Retrieval of activities (e.g., Notes as SmartPads, Calls, Meetings, To-Dos via Activities) will be implemented once SmartOffice product requirements are finalized.

When you sync a note, Zeplyn maps your selected activity type to SmartOffice’s predefined codes:
