The Cover Page is an editor where you can amend existing information in text boxes; or add further text boxes, images, lines or tables.
Default Cover Page
By default Zylpha will generate a basic cover page containing multiple text boxes with filler text (shown below). The pre-existing text boxes can be amended, moved and rotated by double-clicking on them, then typing in the desired text.
General Items
The items shown under General Items are objects which you can add to the Cover page by dragging them on to the page.
Text Box
The text box item allows you to add more text to the Cover Page by dragging it on to the page. You can then edit the text, resize and rotate it by double clicking.
Image
The image item allows you to add an image to the cover page. Once the item has been dragged on to the page, a File Explorer window will open, allowing you to select an image file. You can then re-size, rotate and move the image by double clicking on it.
Line
The line item allows you to add a line to the cover page, you can move it around, rotate and resize it by double clicking on the item.
Table
The table item allows you to add a table to the cover page. A window will appear when the item is dragged on to the page, allowing you to define how many columns/rows you need, clicking "OK" will add the table to the cover page.
The Cover Page File Tab
The Cover Page tab allows you to do things such set an external cover page, save the cover page and print.
To select an existing document to use as the cover page, select Open then browse to the file location and select the file you would like to use.
You can also save your current cover page externally as a .rtf (which can be opened using Word) by selecting either Save or Save As. This will allow you to re-use this cover page in a different bundle.
You are also able to preview the cover page using the Print Preview button, or print just the cover page using the Print button.
The Format Tab
The Format tab is used for customising text on the cover page.
You can cut, copy and/or paste content using the Clipboard group.
The Font group allows you to edit the font, colour, size and style of a text field or the contents of a table.
Change the line spacing of a text field or the contents of a table using the Paragraph group.
Edit text styles using the Styles group.
Find and/or replace text using the Editing group.
The Insert Tab
You can use the Insert tab to add further components into the cover page.
These buttons, in left-to-right order allow you to:
Add a new page
Add a table; when you click the Table icon you will be prompted for the number of columns and rows.
Add a picture; when you click the Picture icon you will be prompted to browse for the image file.
Add a text box; click on the cover page where you want the new Text box, then click the Text box icon.

The Page Layout Tab
The Page Layout tab can be used to change the margin, orientation and size of the cover page.
You can change the Margins, Orientation and Size in the Page Setup
group.
The Units group allows you to change the units of measurement for the margins.
The View Tab
The View tab allows you to change the view settings of the cover page editor. Four settings are enabled by default, shown below.
The Document Views group allows you to change the document view to Draft View, Print Layout or Simple View.
The Show group allows you to enable the verticle or horizontal rulers (these are enabled by default).
The Grid group enables you to impose a grid, of different sizes, over the cover page. Which can assist you to organise objects such as texboxes or tables on the cover page.
The Zylpha Tab
On the Zylpha tab, clicking the browse button will let you locate and apply an external cover page.
