The Properties Explorer allows you to view and change additional properties on your documents and sections.
To access the Properties Explorer first click either on a section or document in your bundle and then click on the Properties Explorer tab on the right hand side. Please note that the options the The Properties Explorer tab shows you will be different depending on whether you have a document or a section selected.
Properties Explorer - Documents
If you selected a single document, this is the window you will see when you click on the Properties Explorer tab.
Option | Description |
Section - This allows you to move the document to any other section in your bundle | |
Description - From here you can edit the name of the document. This is how it will appear in the final bundle's index | |
Sub page - If ticked, this document will appear as a Sub page in the final bundle and numbered accordingly in the Index | |
User Defined 1 & 2 - These are two user defined fields which you can customise yourself. See more in Defining Your Index Layout | |
Path - This is the path Zylpha Bundling will take to get your document | |
File Type - This shows the file type of the selected document | |
Exclude from numbering - When ticked this document will not be numbered in the index when Document Numbering has been selected | |
Exclude from core bundle - When ticked the document will not appear in the core bundle, however will still appear in the index but will be marked to show that the document has not been included | |
Add as attachment - When ticked the document will be included in the bundle as an attachment in its original file format | |
Available worksheets - If your spreadsheet has multiple tabs or worksheets you can clarify which ones you would like to appear in the bundle. If nothing is selected all available worksheets will appear. Note: this only works for excel spreadsheets |
Properties Explorer - Sections
If you selected a section, this is the window you will see when you click on the Properties Explorer tab.
The options shown above are described below:
Option | Description |
Section Name - This field allows you to name your section. Note: You will not be able to confirm the new section unless you have named it. The name must also be unique as you cannot have two sections with identical names. | |
Separator Colour - The separator colour allows you to pick if you would like a specific colour to be linked with this section. This colour will appear in the index and separator pages in the final bundle | |
Font Colour - Choose the font colour for the section heading in the index | |
Paginate - Choose whether or not you want the documents in this section to be paginated in the bundle | |
Document Cover Page - Enabling this option will add a cover page to each document in this section | |
User Section Number - If you have selected Manually Number Sections you will need to enter the section number here | |
Section Start Number - This allows you to set which number pagination will start from in this section |
