Zylpha Online Bundling can handle many different types of documents, however, sometimes your files may have additional metadata or security which prevents Zylpha from converting or assembling a document into a PDF. Most commonly this occurs with bank statements or payslips.
When this happens, you will see progress stop on the document Zylpha is having trouble with. For example:
When this occurs, the document will need to be sanitised to remove any metadata or security which is preventing assembly.
The easiest method to do this, is to use "Print to PDF" on the document. This will save a sanitised copy of the document to your machine, which you can then replace with the original in your Zylpha Bundle.
Print to PDF on Windows
To print a document to PDF on Windows, please open the document outside of Zylpha in its native application. In the example below we are using Adobe Acrobat to open a PDF.
With the document open, please select "Print". This is usually found after clicking File > Print. However, the print button may be in a different location depending on the application used to open the document.
This will open the print options. Here, select "Microsoft Print to PDF" as your printer, leaving all other print options as default, and click print.
During the sanitisation process, you will be prompted to select a save location of the sanitised document. Once this has completed, you can replace the document in your Zylpha bundle with the sanitised copy.
Print to PDF on Mac
To print a document to PDF on a Mac machine, please open the document outside of Zylpha in its native application.
With the document open, please select File > Print in the menu bar at the top.
This will open the print options. Here, select "Save as PDF" using the dropdown at the bottom, leaving all other print options as default, and click print.
During the sanitisation process, you will be prompted to select a save location of the sanitised document. Once this has completed, you can replace the document in your Zylpha bundle with the sanitised copy.
