Follow these steps to withdraw $USD from your Coast Digital Account using an ACH transfer to an American bank account. If you are not a USA-based user, please refer to this help article to Withdraw from Coast account using Wise.com (International).


STEP 1 - Burn $CST

Withdrawing USD to your bank account requires that you have $USD in your Digital Account. The simplest way to do this is to Burn $CST. But if you have already done this, you can jump to step 2 how to withdraw to your bank.

1. Login to your Coast account

2. Connect to MetaMask

3. Login to MetaMask

4. Select the Burn Tab

5. Enter Amount to Burn

6. Approve app to Burn your $CST

If you have NOT previously approved the Coast app to Burn your $CST, the first of the two buttons in the Burn Summary will be Blue and you will be prompted to Approve. Also the text at the bottom of the Burn Summary will read "Connect to PulseChain Mainnet to Mint/Burn $CST."

7. Burn your $CST

If you have previously approved the app to Burn your $CST, the first of the two buttons in the Burn summary will be grey and read "Wallet Approved". If this is the case, you can continue to Burn using the second button. This button will Burn the amount your entered on the left of the screen. If you want to Burn more/less, change this number.

8. Approve Burn in Wallet

9. Sending $CST

During this step, your Wallet is sending $CST to the Contract Address. The time for this transaction to process depends on the setting you chose when you initiated the transfer.

10. $CST Send Complete

At this point, the Contract has received your $CST and is alerting Fortress.

11. Transferring your USD

During this step, $USD is being transferred from the $CST Collateral account to your Custodial Account with Fortress. It will show as complete when Fortress tells Coast the transfer is complete by sending a Webhook.

12. Transfer Complete

Depending on the speed at which the Webhooks are functioning, the Transfer window may or may not close on it's own.

13. Funds are available

At this point, if the window remains open for longer than 20-30 seconds, simply refresh your browser tab and notice if your burned coins are now showing in your Digital Account under Current Balance.

14. Open the Withdraw Cash draw


STEP 2 - Withdraw to Bank

15. Enter Amount to Withdraw

16. Link a Bank Account (Plaid)

17. Select Saved Account

18. Withdraw Button will Activate

19. Transaction Completes

20. Add Bank Account Manually

If your bank is not available in the list of banks provided by Wise, you can manually link a USA-based bank account to the Coast app using the manual input form.

21. Input Bank Details

22. Withdraw to External Account

Once you have successfully linked your bank account manually, you will be able to continue with your withdrawal just like in Step 17. However, note that if you choose to add a bank account manually, it will be listed as an "External Account" nots as a "Plaid Linked External Account".
