Troubleshooting Login Issues & Password Resets

Quick solutions for Network Errors, email formatting, domain selection, and password requirements.

If you are having trouble logging into your Snappy dashboard or encounter a "Network Error" message, use this guide to quickly resolve common access issues.

Domain & Email Verification

Before resetting your password, verify the following details on the login page:

  • Correct Dashboard URL: Ensure you are logging in at snappy.com (our business dashboard). If you are on snappygifts.com, you are on the recipient/personal gifting site.

  • Email Formatting:

    • Type your email address in all lowercase.

    • Check that there are no leading or trailing spaces before or after your email address (common when copy-pasting).

    • Double-check for typos and confirm it matches the exact email address used to register your account.

Resetting Your Password

If your email is correct but you still cannot log in, click Forgot Password on the login page. Your new password must meet our security standards:

Password Requirements:

  • Total Length: Minimum 14 characters total.

  • Alphabetic Characters: Minimum 12 letters (must include at least one UPPERCASE and one lowercase letter).

  • Numbers: At least one numeric digit (0–9).

  • Special Symbols: At least one special character.

    • Allowed symbols: ! @ # $ % ^ & * " | ' ( ) _ + ? > < , - . / : ; = { } ~

  • No Blank Spaces: Do not include spaces anywhere in your password.

💡 Password Example: California$ontheWestCoast1 (Please create your own unique phrase!)

Browser & Network Troubleshooting

If you encounter a "Network Error" popup during login, the issue is typically browser- or network-related:

  • Clear Browser Cache: Clear your browser cache and cookies for "All Time," close all windows, and try again.

  • Hard Refresh: Perform a hard browser refresh on the login screen (Ctrl + F5 on Windows or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac).

  • Corporate Firewall: Your organization's network may block traffic to Snappy. Ask your IT team to whitelist [Snappy's approved networks].

  • Network Connection: If using a mobile hotspot or weak Wi-Fi, switch to a stable broadband network.
