Build Your Own Collection (BYOC)

How to build a custom collection in just a few steps.

Updated over a week ago

Take total control of your gifting experience by curating a 100% custom collection of gifts perfectly tailored to your recipients or specific event!

A quick heads-up for global teams 🌎

Since our available gifts are country-specific, utilizing BYOC would require you to build a unique collection for each country. For this reason, we recommend limiting BYOC to gift sends with 2-3 countries, otherwise using our pre-existing gift collections.

Note: This feature is exclusive to Elevated and Enterprise plans

1. Start Your Collection

From your dashboard, navigate to the Collections tab. Click on Custom and select the Build Your Own Collection tile.

2. Add Your Gifts

You have two easy ways to start populating your collection:

  • Add Specific Gifts: Browse our catalog and hand-pick individual items, including physical products, non-branded options, or your company's custom swag.

  • Start Adding Tags: Let us do the heavy lifting! Select between 3 and 10 "Tags" (e.g., Technology, Birthday, Small Business). Snappy will automatically curate the top-performing products that match your selected tags.

3. Review and Customize

Once you've added your items or tags, you will see a preview grid of your collection. (Note: The maximum number of products allowed in a custom collection is 80). This limit ensures that the collection remains manageable and provides a curated experience for users.

To perfect your list, you can use the following tools:

  • Add/Remove: Click the + icon on the top left to browse for more specific items, or click the Trash icon on a specific product to remove it from the grid.

  • Pin a Gift (πŸ“Œ): Hover over a product and click the pin icon to lock it in place. Even if you shuffle tags later, this product will remain in your collection.

  • Shuffle Gift (πŸ”„): Not loving a specific item? Click the shuffle icon to instantly replace it with a similar product from the same category.

4. Name and Save

Once your list looks perfect, give your collection a distinct name (e.g., "2026 Executive Retreat") and click Save.

Your new custom collection will now be available under the Custom Collections tab whenever you are ready to launch your next campaign!
