Can I change the start date that Snappy pulls from my HR system?
Yes! This feature is called Advanced Mapping, you are able to choose a different start date to reference from your HR system.
Why would I want to do this?
When you first set up your HR Integration, Snappy will pull start date (also called hire date) from your HR system. However, many companies use dates like Seniority Date, Rehire Date, or Effective Date as a more accurate reflection of when the employee started.
Can I change it to any date from my HR system?
No, Snappy can only use the date fields that your HR system gives us access to. In some cases Snappy can't see the date field you may want to reference.
How do I change it?
Currently there is no way of making this change from your Snappy Dashboard. In order to change the start date that Snappy references you should reach out to your Customer Success Manager and schedule some time to meet and review your integration.
