Creating Sea-state Tables
Updated over 9 months ago

See also Sea-state tables explained for how sea-state tables are used in activities.

Create/Edit sea-state tables

Navigate to the "Manager" tab in the top menu and click the "Limiting Sea-state Tables" button in the left hand side menu. Add a new sea-state table by clicking "Add limiting sea-state table" or click pencil icon on an existing sea-state table.

Use the templates or create a custom table by filling in the prompts. Both options will create an empty sea-state table depending on your selection.

Add sea-state table information in the prompts and select "Status":

  • In planning means the sea-state table is active and available when creating new activities

  • Completed means the sea-state table is completed and not available when creating new activities

Note, completed sea-state tables are hidden by default in the overview. Toggle the show/hide button to see hidden sea-state tables

Fill in the form by manual input or copy paste from excel. Add headings and wave peak periods as needed by using the available buttons.

Use the "Document/MOC" number prompts to cross-reference simulation results with the specific criteria outlined in relevant analysis reports to ensure alignment.

Click "Save" to store the sea-state table to the list.
