Overview
The activity manager enables the user to manage and configure their associated limits and other data about their activities . It is the installation limits associated with an activity, that fundamentally enables calculation of activity feasibility.
The activity manager is where the user start the process of storing information about their upcoming activities. This is typically done before the offshore campaign starts. The activity manager is broken down into the following components:
Note, if an activity refers to seastate tables and alpha factors, then these tables must be configured before adding the activity. See linked sections above.
Ensuring Quality Input
The accuracy and reliability of ODST depend on the quality of the input data, particularly the results from installation simulations. It is imperative to follow company best practices and QA/QC routines and adhere to relevant regulatory standards when establishing the operational criteria that defines the foundation of ODST Activities.
Add/Edit Activity
Navigate to the Manager tab in the top menu and click "Add Activity" or click the pencil icon in the activity list. Enter activity information in the prompts and set activity status (v1.3.0):
In Planning means that the activity is active and available as a new step in the Planner module
Complete means activity is complete and not available as a new step in the Planner module
Note, completed activities are hidden by default in the Activity overview. Toggle the show/hide button to see hidden activities
Set Criteria Types
ODST supports the following activity criteria types (v1.3.0):
Wave based
Vessel motion based
Response based (requires RFT integration)
Current based
Wind based
When selecting criteria type, the input form will update accordingly. The user will be guided directly in the user interface on how to input data. Tooltips are available for additional guidance (hover your mouse over the information icon)
Use the "Document/MOC" number prompts to cross-reference simulation results with the specific criteria outlined in relevant analysis reports to ensure alignment.

Configure Alpha Factors
Select relevant alpha factor table from the dropdown list. If the operation can be halted, select "Yes" and enter time (Tsafe) to reach storm riding condition.
